Cameroon-Switzerland To Finalise Migration Agreement

The outgoing Swiss Ambassador discussed with External Relations Minister on August 16.
The
outgoing Ambassador of Switzerland to Cameroon, Urs Berner says a
Cameroonian delegation will be going to his country next month to
finalise the agreement on migration issues. He disclosed the information
in Yaounde on August 16, 2013 after a goodbye audience with the
Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo.

Urs Berner who is already going on retirement said he used the audience
with the Minister to assess the level of bilateral relations between
Cameroon and Switzerland. He said the two governments were discussing an
agreement on migration issues. During his stay in Cameroon, the Swiss
diplomat said, he tried to strengthen relations between the two
countries. One of the areas was in youth empowerment. Concerning
economic relations, he said they were limited for the time being,
stating the possibilities of extending them.
Urs Berner said he leaves with good memories of Cameroon.
