La société chinoise Sinohydro annonce qu’elle va employer environ 1400 travailleurs sur le chantier de construction du barrage de Bini à Warak, dans la partie septentrionale du Cameroun. Sur ces effectifs globaux, plus de 1000 employés seront de nationalité camerounaise, contre 400 Chinois, précise l’entreprise. D’une capacité de production de 75 MW, le futur barrage viendra suppléer celui de Lagdo, qui fait face à une demande d’électricité sans cesse croissance.
