The Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation
The
Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation addresses Sub-Saharan African
engineers working on or being involved in engineering innovations that:
- will bring social and/or environmental benefits to Sub-Saharan Africa countries;
- have strong potential to be replicated and scaled up;
- have a realistic business plan with strong commercial viability.
Shortlisted applicants will benefit from a six month period of
training and mentorship. Additionally the winner will receive £ 25,000
along with three runners-up who will be awarded £ 10,000 each.
The deadline for applications is the 29th of June 2015.
