Security as a development opportunity in Africa

SecurityinAfrica.com is an initiative designed to generate interest in the Security sector in Africa.

This act as a conduit for African Governments seeking to improve their security challenges/issues and International security suppliers seeking to implement their security products and services in Africa.

It also encourage the use of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives to fast track the development of the security sector in Africa. 

With all the current trade interest in Africa, it is crucial for the security capabilities in Africa to be improved simultaneously, in order to sustain the level of growth Africa is experiencing. 

African Governments seeking to attract FDI into their countries need to put measures in place in order to secure the investment, from Competition laws through physical security and Cyber Security.

African Governments (directly or via their Defence Attaches) are invited to list their security challenges and issues along with their PPP intiatives and this service will find Security suppliers with products and services capable of addressing the security challenges in Africa. 

The aim is to facilitate the resolution of the security challenges in Africa through trade. All areas of security are covered from law security (competition law), physical security to cyber security.
